Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii Nikki Nakamura is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. In high-school she took guitar lessons and played lead guitar and sang vocals in a cover band. She learned to play songs by Green Day, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Nirvana. In 2016 Nikki began hosting an open mic at a local nightclub and curated the event over the next 2 years.
