Originally from North Atlanta, Stax is a blue collar southern charmer. Raise by a Caribbean, Grenadian mother and a father from West Atlanta Stax holds range. As a kid he grew up watching basement sessions where his dad recorded music playing base guitar with friends. Though music always lived in his heart, Stax eventually excelled at game of football. He eventually earned a scholarship to the University of West Georgia, where he is now in Hall of Fame.
