Born in Polokwane, South Africa, raised just outside the city by a music meister father and a spiritual mother, Hero fell in love with music at an early age. Spending time with his father who used to play a lot of 70s & 80s jazz, Afro Pop, disco, R&B etc, combined with the gospel music played by his mother, they forged a rhythmic, soulful and intensively melodic legend in the making. Started making music in 2010 with a group of friends the Snazzy Beavers Family to being a solo artist in 2018 after releasing a combined mix tape called I Am That I Am, promoting shows and grabbing a lot of loc...
