During the late 1980s to early 2001, Allan and his brother, Scot, led a popular country dance band that headlined or opened for nationally renowned artists, such as Gary Stewart, Gene Watson, Lari White, Toby Keith and more. They performed at local events, festivals, and clubs across Texas, including a radio station showcase at the Texas State Fair.
