After losing his mom at the age of 14 to heart conditions, and was sent to JOnesboro, AR to live with his uncle and grandmother(Willie Mae).He continued with sports, earning all-state and all-region honors in football and basketball.Siging a full ride scholarship to the University of Tennessee to play football, but was shortened after bringing a son into this world without proper preparation to provide for his son.
