MSTRBLSTR is a Miami-based electronic artist working in the darker corners of acid house, techno, and electro. Originally from the NYC area before relocating to Phoenix in the early ‘90s, he became part of the southwest underground rave current—lugging gear to desert full-moon parties and warehouse blowouts, sharing lineups with future names like Adam X, Eddie Amador, Z-Trip, and Moby. His live sets were built on machines—synths and drum tracks mutating in real time, wired into the crowd’s energy.
