Bastian Weinig

As a young, upcoming bassist Bastian Weinig (*1992 Schlüchtern) has become an integral part of the jazz scene. As a child, he showed great interest in music and started playing the piano at the age of six. After some experiences on the electric bass, Bastian Weinig discovered the double bass at the age of 13 and began to perfect his skills on the instrument. He studied jazz and popular music at the University of Music Mainz from 2011 to 2017.
