Sam Keeno, a British contemporary R&B and soulful hip-hop melodist, was originally born in Luanda, Angola - during a period of civil and political unrest, which forced his parents to migrate and seek refuge in the UK as asylum seekers in the early 90s. Sam began playing musical instruments and singing around the ages of 6-8 years old at home and in church, and was introduced to the bongo and djembe drums during worship services. Growing up in a diverse Camden Town, London, he was influenced by music genres like R&B, Reggae, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Grime and came up listening to Congolese Rumba...
