Portland was a shoegaze-infused alternative rock band hailing from Paisley, Scotland. Formed in 2024, the band played some of Glasgow's most notable venues including King Tut's Wah Wah Hut and Nice n' Sleazy's. The Scottish 5-piece channeled the alt-rock dynamism of the likes of Slowdive and Mazzy Star, blending gritty basslines and heavy drums with light, melodic vocals - crafting an ethereal and immersive sound. They released their debut single 'Heartbeat' in July 2025 before separating.
