Red Sky Dawn are a band of five from Cheshire, writing and performing their own songs at venues across the UK. Their collective taste in music consists of late 70’s and early 80’s bands such as The Police, The Beatles, Big Country and The Cure, to name a few. Bands like these are having a clear influence on their music. The band emerged when songwriter & journalist, Ian Dovaston, met lead singer, Sam Timson, in macclesfield and introduced him to guitarist, Charlie Candlish and Bassist, Josie Candlish.
