Call it Afro Chill Pop, Afrobeat or Afro Dance, the first singles of this new project from the Swiss/Moroccan Barraka label, are released one by one and will be regrouped on an album by the end of the year. Recorded between Zürich, New York and Marrakech, featuring legendary bass player Bill Laswell and different musicians from Senegal & Morocco, they melt tribal Somali chants and African Kora sounds with diverse forms of Electronica and Dub.
