Born and raised in Switzerland, she grew up listening to many different music genres like jazz, rnb/soul, alternative rock, flamenco, middle eastern music, bossa nova, Filipino ballads etc. After years of developing her sound, she found her true calling as a Latin/Oriental singer while retaining some of her other influences.
