Masha J. Davey’s passion grew from a deep rooted sense to explore and share in storytelling of one’s Truth. As a young child, she grew up listening to the myths and legends of New Orleans culture from her elders. They instilled not only a responsibility to honor the cultural and musical lineage, but a devotion to push the craft forward into places greater than just the singular self by connecting the community while pushing the boundaries of the music forward to the next generation of artists-musicians.
