Born and raised in West London, Zakiya musically known as Keeko Forde immersed in everything music for much of her life. Born to West Indian parents who understood her need for creativity. Keeko first found music at the age of 8 when the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was released “the album was played so much that I could predict when it was going to skip”. Some of her main influences include Jazmine Sullivan, Lauryn Hill And Keke Wyatt.
