What started as a solo project by vocalist/lead guitarist Travis Weinand (Tetsuo, Burden, Titan, Muffin) has become a fully realized journey into thrash/death/progressive metal ecstasy. With drummer Dave Ferrara (Qaalm, Cemetery, Herman's Hermits) they are crafting a massive sonic battering ram pulling from many wells of influence. Now gearing up for their 5th release, Death Beyond, their first on Fine Shammy Records, Whipworm is ready to unveil their most ambitious and most fully realized album yet.
