Rasam's music draws from his deep understanding of the Persian classical music where he infuses traditional modes and microtonal nuances into his compositions. At the same time, Rasam has studied western music theory and composition, including harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration. This fusion has allowed him to create a rich tapestry of sound that blends the emotive, improvisational qualities of Persian music with the structural complexity of western classical traditions.
