Cerpintxt is an Egyptian sound artist and vocalist; an electroacoustic progress report concerned with generating an invented language of a particular strain of softness through auto-destruction, phonetic entropy, and augmented instrumentation. The textural counterparts of her sound rely on wind instruments, broken turntablism, prepared zither, seismic microphones, tape recorders and modular synthesis.
