Shakewood is a guitar-driven rock band duo from Rheda-Wiedenbrück, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Their music covers a wide spectrum of rock genres, ranging from '70s vintage, melodic, retro, psychedelic, soft, and melancholic, to stadium-sized riffs, progressive, alternative rock, and rock-pop. Sebastian (drummer) and Marius (singer, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist) formed Shakewood in 2014, immediately diving into composing music.
