North Orbital is an Edinburgh band writing bittersweet, energetic indie music. Their sound evokes the warm fuzz and soaring heartfelt vocals of ALVVAYS and Snail Mail, plus the playful edginess of 90s bands like The Cardigans and The Sundays. Their tracks weave fluid vocal melodies with mellow, driven guitars, underpinned by a solid rhythmic core – sometimes melancholic, dreamy, and discordant, but always fun.
