Lidsville was an indie rock band from 1991-1996. The band formed when members Steve Larson (drums) and Greg Johnson (vocals, guitar) met through a mutual friend and realized that their compatible music taste decidedly non-rockstar hairstyles could be the foundation of something meaningful. The pair soon added bassist Rich Mrozek and guitarist Bear Burt. The band began playing shows at local OC venues in 1992, playing with the likes of The Offspring, fIREHOSE, Rage Against the Machine, No Doubt, Sense Field, and other OC-grown artists.
