Emerging in 2020 with a string of self-released singles, Calypso Jet quickly gained strong; consistent support from BBC Introducing, eventually going on to produce the first ever mini-mix for BBC Introducing in Scotland in 2021. Further releases came in the shape of a debut EP, “Nineties”, released via Sun Turtle Records. This then followed by a single featured on the “Summer of Love” EP, released via Street Tracks, a label founded by DJ and producer, Waze.
