JR & His Blue Train stands for honest country and rock ’n’ roll, made in Germany. The band was founded in 2013 by singer Jan and bassist Christian — soon joined by Marius (guitar) and Philipp (drums). What started as an after-work project quickly became a solid band with its own distinctive sound. Then things went quiet for a while: from 2018 to early 2024, the band took a creative break. But then the volume was turned back up—in 2024 with a fresh sound, new momentum, and a new drummer on board. Henne is now behind the kit, giving the sound a new punch.
