Steven Gillon is a composer of Portuguese-American descent, born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. Discovered the piano at the age of sixteen and started to work on his first compositions in the same year. In 2016, Steven embarked on a journey to deepen his musical knowledge as a self-taught musician. During this period, he explored piano technique and composition, strongly inspired by composers such as Federico Mompou, Alexander Scriabin, Arvo Pärt, and Jóhann Jóhannsson, whose works continue to shape his musical style.
