Plan 17 is the dream pop project of Abhishek Mathur, guitar player with the band Advaita from New Delhi, India. Plan 17's music is inspired by the sound of synth based music starting with pioneers like Kraftwerk, to the post punk synth pop bands of the 1980’s and also more contemporary acts like John Maus and Tame Impala. The music is a reflection of the genre's wider cultural connotations, such as the dreams of a future utopia dominated by technology.
