MEISA is a singer-songwriter from Lima, Peru. Her interest in singing began when she was 6 years old, but she wasn't able to sing in public until the age of 18 because of her timid nature. In 2011, she started to participate in Japanese songs' contests and eventually became a regular member in many Peruvian-Japanese community artistic shows. Recently, she teamed up with fellow musicians to create TOKIO CASSETTE, a citypop tribute band, taking the position of main female vocalist.
