‘Tivien’ is a certified day dreamer. Chasing visions and narratives through sonic and visual creations. Tivien grew up in Australia’s Capital with a Papua New Guinean mother, Caucasian Australian father and younger brother. Every few years throughout their life, Tivien would visit family in the tropics of New Ireland, Papua New Guinea. Tivien integrates aspects of their Nalik identity into their sound, for example creating worlds with waves and native birdcalls.
