Born as Samuel Gomez to Latin-American parents in Madera, California in 2001, martyr is making a name for himself balancing roles as an artist, DJ, mixing/mastering/recording engineer, and producer in the Pacific Northwest. Early in life, the Chula Vista native wanted to make rock adjacent music, inspired by the shredding guitars/vocals of Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance while simultaneously having grown up with the drums of Timbaland and Pharrell Williams.
