Born Joseph Antonio Burns and raised in Charleston SC, Burnz developed a love for music since elementary school and learning from his father how to understand music who was a DJ in the late '80s. Burnz's first song was recorded in 2003 (catch me by the bar) it was a local hit. It allowed him to showcase his talent to his peers first hand.
