Copenhagen based trumpet player, composer, bandleader. Thofte graduated from the Conservatory in Copenhagen (RMC) in 2014 and has since then established himself as one of the most in-demand Danish trumpeters. He performs frequently with artists such as Rasmus Sørensen, Nikolaj Hess, Jakob Dinesen, Danish Radio Big Band and appears on albums with Anders Fjeldsted Sextet, Per Møllehøj Quintet, Kathrine Windfeld Big Band, A Plane to Catch (of which he is a founding member) and Thofte/Thorsen Quintet which he co-leads with tenor Saxophonist Simon Thorsen.
