Scott McIlroy, better known as Doc Scott, was a British DJ born in 1971. His career began in the late 1980s at clubs and raves such as Amnesia House and The Eclipse, leading to his first track "NHS", released on Simon 'Bassline' Smith's label Absolute 2 in 1991. Doc Scott's breakthrough came with EPs like The N.H.S EP (1991) and The N.H.S E.P. Vol 2 - The Second Chapter (1992), which solidified his presence in the electronic music scene.
