Acoustic guitarist Steinar Aadnekvam - originally from Bergen, Norway - is one of the leading Scandinavian jazz guitarists of the new generation. Based in Stockholm, Sweden his playing is steeped within the strong Scandinavian jazz-rock tradition but also heavily informed by Afro-Brazilian styles through over a decade of presence in the state of Pernambuco.
