William Selman is a Portland, Oregon-based electronic and electro-acoustic artist who uses field recordings, synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and digital processing techniques to explore themes such as non-places, embodiment, atmosphere, and the dialectic between the real and the artificial. He co-manages the Critique of Everyday Life label with Chris Miller (Gunnar Haslam) and plays in the improvisational trio Wild Card of Cascadia with Paul Dickow (Strategy) and Marcus Fischer. He has released works on Mysteries of the Deep, Hausu Mountain, Digitalis, and Critique of Everyday Life.
