Derrick Anderson, a native of Toledo, Ohio has toured and recorded with The Bangles, the Kinks’ Dave Davies, Translator’s Steve Barton, Susanna Hoffs, The Smithereens, The Cowsills and Matthew Sweet. Derrick’s memorably melodic bass playing and songwriting are showcased on two critically acclaimed releases by his former band The Andersons!. His bass work can also be heard on two posthumously released Pete Ham (Badfinger) releases, 7 Park Avenue and Golders Green. Anderson's critically acclaimed premiere solo album A World Of My Own is available on Omnivore Recordings.
