In 2018, Suntero tragically lost his mother, around the same time as the death of Lil Peep, which sparked Suntero’s evolution of sound to blend hip hop vibes and emo trap while keeping the essence of punk. Summer of 2019, Suntero released several mix tapes on Sound Cloud with heavy influences of Lil Peep, Juice WRLD, and Mac Miller.
