LEX, a rapper from Thessaloniki, Greece, is considered the most influential hip-hop artist of his generation, achieving mainstream success through his solo work. He debuted in 1999 with the group Voreia Asteria, pioneers of rap in Northern Greece, with their albums Xalara (2003) and Xalarotera (2004) celebrated as classics.
