With a mix of melodic guitar licks, ethereal synths and many, many harmonies, Emma Thorell blends the lines between contemporary soul and indie pop. Säffle born and bred, the young singer left her choir roots and intimate, small-town gigs in Sweden in favour of the UK scene in 2015 to make her mark. With influences like HAIM, Elli Ingram and Florence & The Machine, she’s been London based ever since, graduating from BIMM London in 2019 and writing up a storm.
