Jamaica are an electro-tinged French indie rock duo who made their full-length album debut in 2010. Based in Paris, France, the duo is comprised of Antoine Hilaire (vocals, guitar) and Flo Lyonnet (bass, vocals), who went by the name Poney Poney for a several years before changing their name to Jamaica in 2009. As Poney Poney, they made their commercial recording debut in 2006 with “Junior,” a split single on Arcade Mode produced by Xavier de Rosnay from the Ed Banger Records flagship act Justice.
