CIUDAD DE TAR is an electronic duo from Santiago, Chile, blending post-rock and electronic music to craft immersive compositions rich in dramatic layers. Founded by Marco Avilez in 2019, the project debuted with the EP ALMA in 2020. Today, joined by José Tomás Molina, the duo creates purely instrumental pieces rooted in delicate and hypnotic textures of guitars, synthesizers, clarinet, drum machines, and loops.
