When Danny Watts started Downtown Patriots, this multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer wanted a sound that captured his love of grunge but with a modern twist of energy. “One of the first records I ever bought was 1984 by @VanHalen, and always loved the synth sound in “Jump”, so I wanted to Introduce 80s style synths in to my new material, whilst retaining a grungey guitar sound, in a similar way to how @TheKillers manage to do.
