Jimmy Franklin is an independent singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, 10 years of which were spent training in classical voice. He graduated college into the pandemic, spending his first postgrad year alone in the midwest before moving to New York City in 2021. Unsure how to get back into singing, he wrote 400 poems during his first 3 years in the city. Much of his songwriting is influenced by these personal poetry collections.
