Anton Sanko, born July 4, 1960, in New York City, is an American composer, arranger and producer known for his film music. He studied music theory and composition at New York University. His collaboration with Suzanne Vega on albums like Solitude Standing (1987), received seven Grammy nominations, while Days of Open Hand (1990) won the Grammy for Best Recording Package in 1991. Sanko's film scoring began with director Jonathan Demme, composing music for Cousin Bobby.
