Australian Brandenburg Orchestra について
The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra is the leading early music ensemble in Australia. It was proposed by Paul Dyer, a leading harpsichordist and early music scholar, with a debut planned for the Sydney Opera House's summer Mostly Mozart Festival of January 1990. Dyer assembled leading early instrument specialists and began intensive rehearsals in 1989 for their debut. The debut was a success and established Australia as having joined the international "authentic" performance movement.
