Kristján Kristjánsson (KK) born 1956 in Minneapolis, MN, raised in San José, CA, moved to Iceland when he was 10. In 1977 he and his wife to be, Þórunn, moved to Sweden and lived there till 1990. During that time their first 2 children were born, Sóley (1978) & Sölvi (1980). 1986 he went busking the streets of Europe. Later that year, in Hamburg, he joined Red Archibald and the Internationals on guitar for a 2 month tour of Germany. 1987 back to Sweden for his family and together they went out on the road busking, during which time he formed The Grinders with Professor Washboard and Derr...
