Absolutely began writing music in early 2009 when the three met in college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After releasing a limited debut cassette EP, they set out to work on their first full length Learns to Love Mistakes which was recorded in late 2010 with Shane Hochstetler (Call Me Lightning) at his Howl Street Recordings. Their debut full length, teeming with discordant, frenetic anthems, went on to receive local accolades as one of the best Milwaukee albums of 2011.
