John Are, now recording as The Kaytonsville 8, was the lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist for his NYC band Cruel Story of Youth, which put out a record on Columbia/CBS/Sony in 1989. Say This Never Ends is his first full length album since his CSOY release on Columbia. (TK8 dropped a 3-song EP in 2020). Producer, mixer, and keyboardist Kenny Cummings came to NYC after being a part of the Seattle music scene. Played keys in Cruel Story of Youth during the Columbia Records era, and then went on to work with notables like Elvis Costello, Midnight Oil, The Cult, Aretha Franklin, ...
