Launi, whose real name is MeLaun Cosby, was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and raised in Detroit, Michigan. From a young age, she demonstrated a natural talent and nurtured ambitious aspirations for her future. MeLaun and her mother frequently discussed her career plans, which included entrepreneurship, but unfortunately, her mother passed away in 2020.
