The Proper Channels were formed in Portland Oregon in 2019, featuring Matt Wilson on vocals/guitar, Noah Davis on bass and Chris Peterson on drums. The band focuses heavily on 70's and 80's sci fi / horror movie themes, pairing them with a blend of classic punk rock and 80's power pop. Matt and Noah were childhood friends, learning to play guitar together and starting their first band at the age of 13. Matt later went on to play in Code 4-15 and The All Brights.
