Ambient/dub techno producer Martin Nonstatic creates soothing, enveloping soundscapes inspired by the majestic landscapes of his Austrian home, with dubby basslines and crispy beats that take the listener on a tranquil journey, as on his epic 2017 album Ligand. Born Martin van Rossum in the Netherlands in 1976, he moved with his family near Köln, Germany when he was 12 years old.
