Singer/songwriter Eric Carmen amassed an impressive amount of hit singles over his long career, whether it be as a member of the Raspberries, as a solo artist, or as a songwriter for others. The Raspberries helped come up with the template for power pop in the early '70s, mixing huge, hooky melodies with thundering rhythms and heavy guitar crunch and featuring Carmen's soaring vocals in the middle.
