Technology is our instrument. Drum machines, pitch shifting, copy-paste, effect machines, midi instruments. We do it. Machine, dear was created with the ambition to try to prove – to ourselves at least – that we by means of sound designs on a computer are able to express feelings and moods that we can’t create in the classic electrical amplified band. We are designers of alternative pop music. So at night time – when everybody else are sleeping – we spend hours trying to become one with machines.
